Claire Riddell is a Latina writer adopted from Guatemala. She is a graduate of The University of Alabama’s MFA program and has worked as an assistant editor at Black Warrior Review. Her heart belongs to the American Midwest and the people there who make it home. She loves to feed stray cats and often finds inspiration on the edge of sleep.
